Our " University of Basrah Coral Group"
An academic musical group established in 2021 and seeks to activate the partnership in the community through the following goals: Incubating the musical competencies of students and music experts in the city of Basrah, linking links with all organizations, bodies, and departments specialized in human development and civil society institutions, contribute to the renaissance of society at the level of taste and aesthetics in order to raise the taste of the recipient, preserving the Iraqi musical heritage in general and visual folk art in particular, spreading academic musical awareness in civil society and expressing its aspirations in the art that elevates people's lives to a high level of social and artistic relations, and raising the patriotic spirit of the citizens by presenting musical melodies that call for love and belonging to the homeland.

The symposium included several axes, dealing with music in Nietzsche's thought, as well as the psychological and cognitive impact of music on man and society. The symposium demonstrated the technical functions of music in postmodern arts, as well as its environmental impact and its important place in the stages of human thought.

University of Basrah teacher trains the people of Basrah online to raise their experience in music art.
The College of Arts at the University of Basrah won the first prize in the Iraq National Festival for Theater with musical composition in the play “Engage” by author and director Dr. Hazem Abdul Majeed.
The Natural History Museum at the University of Basra received a delegation from the Chaldean Diocese Church in Kirkuk as part of an official visit to view the exhibits documented in the museum on the history of the city of Basra.
Public Artistic Activities
The College of Law at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Department of Student and Artistic Activities, organized the Fine Art Festival for free, direct drawing in the corridors of the gardens of the College of Law.
University of Basrah held an exhibition of the products of the students of the fourth stage (painting branch) who studied the project. The exhibition, which was held in the Great Exhibition Hall at the College of Fine Arts, included more than 40 works of art in oil colors
The “Puppets Theater” was conducted at the University of Basrah which aimed to provide an educational and social structure in the face of Corona by utilizing the Puppets.
The festival of Monodrama
- Late in 2020, the College of Fine Art at the University of Basrah organized the festival of monodrama in which many famous characters from different countries have engaged.
The Virtual Qualitative Festival for Mobile Cinema
Under the title of " Ways to prevent and enhance health security Against Covid-19", The College of Fine Arts at the University of Basra organized the first virtual qualitative festival for mobile cinema with the participation of students of the Department of Audio and Visual Arts.
Artistic Products Center
- The University of Basrah inaugurated the first “Artistic Products Center” for marketing the technical and scientific productions of students and teachers, including works of art, books, and literature.
The International Exhibition “Coronavirus, Epidemic and Upgrade”
The University of Basrah inaugurated the international exhibition of “Coronavirus, Epidemic and Upgrade” in which 70 artists from inside/outside Iraq and different Arab nationalities participated. The works dealt with topics about the world witnessing the Corona pandemic.
