Symposium


The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah held an educational symposium entitled (The Phenomenon of Harassment between Causes and Repercussions). The symposium aims to shed light on this uncivilized phenomenon and the extent of its danger to society, as well as the administrative and legal procedures to be followed when harassment occurs.

Workshop


The College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on (forms of harassment in the university community and its repercussions on social relations among students). The workshop aimed to educate students about the nature of social relationships and that social relationships satisfy a group of important psychological needs of individuals (the need for security, love, and belonging), and without them, he would not feel pleasure and happiness in the company of others. She also emphasized the most important characteristics of friendship (value, hope, and achievement), as she indicated to the most important criteria that govern sound social relations are values ​​and standards, and deviation from values ​​and standards leads to distorting the meaning of fellowship and friendship on campus.
