Therefore, Basrah&#8217;s university has formulated a policy to promote and support students and staff to save energy by setting up energy-saving activities, projects, and <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">activities<\/span>.<\/span> It is also necessary to increase the operation of water recycling. Also, energy-saving appliances enable students and staff to change their energy consumption behavior and reduce faulty equipment that wastes energy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The university partially invests in getting clean water operating Reverse osmosis systems serving students and faculty staff for drinking water.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Basrah university involves the Implementation of the Water Recycling Program. Recycling Waste Water using water from natural ponds for watering trees to replace tap water.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Many projects of wastewater treatments were carried out at the\u00a0 University of Basrah by postgraduate students. We were thinking of using phytotechnology and Eco-friendly products to treat wastewater for university and local society. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>A project of postgraduate student recycling wastewater for irrigation<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-589 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/sustainability.uobasrah.edu.iq\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/IMG-20200921-WA0035-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"192\" height=\"256\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Water management is an essential factor for university.
